Pet Peeve #432
I hate it when people go back on their word. If you say you're gonna do something, you should do it... unless you have a really good reason not to.

Pet Peeve #12
I can't stand it when girls post pictures of themselves posing and trying to look cute or pretty or sexy or whatever online for the whole world to see. A couple is bad enough, but hundreds??!! How vain can you be?? Someone has got to deflate these byatches' heads and get them down to earth and make them realize there must be something seriously wrong with them if they're going to do something stupid like that. Heheh... This actually kinda ties into a really old post I wrote about girls who try to be cute. Egad!! Soooo annoying! I seriously wanna puke...... Whew! Had to let that out... :)

Meteorologists' Bias
Second item on my agenda this evening is the adjectives and tones meteorologists use in their weather forecasts. Okay, we all know that global warming is happening at a faster rate anyone can imagine. We also all know that rainfall levels are lower than average.
Many people watch the news to learn about the forecast for the next few days. This is the perfect opportunity to educate people about global warming, increasing amounts of heat waves, erratic storm behavior, water conservation... basically, our planet's dire need of human contribution to slow down our demise. We can't stop this because planets go through its phases, but things are happening at an alarming rate. Anyway, all meteorologists (well, except Sandhya Patel for ABC) I've seen are biased for warm weather by saying that "tomorrow will be beautiful with plenty of sunshine" or "we'll have better weather and will be in the 80s." When we have rainfall, some of them will furrow their brows or shake their heads. They should stop letting people think that sunshine is good and rain is bad. People need to stop thinking this way. A lot of people don't think about our changing weather patterns and lack of normality these past few years, but it is immensely important that we understand why these things are happening.
For the record, I do love warm weather. I like to wear spring and summer clothes and have outdoor get-togethers and go for a stroll while eating ice cream. But having more of the type of weather that allows you to do those things isn't worth what we will lose in return: our livelihood.

Pet Peeve #2 - Littering
Okay, I am on a roll tonight!
This is something I truly truly cannot stand. People LITTERING!!!! I was never aware of this extreme pet peeve until one day, I was stopped at a light behind another car. That driver opened his/her door and dropped a bag of garbage on the road. Oh my god! I was shocked and, surprisingly, absolutely furious! I was so tempted to follow that person to his/her destination and let him/her know how bad littering is. Gosh. I sound so uptight, but that's what a pet peeve is, I guess. I didn't follow him/her. What would I say? "Hey! You littered back there! Couldn't you have waited to throw away your trash later? In a trash can???" That person would have totally thought I'm a wacko. Okay, so if you don't want to piss me off, DON'T LITTER!!!!

Pet Peeve #12 - Bad Driving
I encounter this on a daily basis - drivers who don't signal and cut right in front of you. I HATE this. If you were to shove your ass in someone's face, it's just common courtesy to say "excuse me." And it's worse when I see that they're on a cell phone! So rude! If they would even give me just one click of their signal, I wouldn't be yelling bad things about them that they are oblvious to... or are they?? Anyway, SIGNAL!!
