Got me to realize, small household chores do lift my spirits! I've always loved to rake, sweep, and vacuum - ever since I was little. I guess this form of cleaning somehow relates to cleansing of the mind too. A clean room is equivalent to a lush meadow brightened with spring flowers. Don't get me wrong. I certainly am no neat freak. AND don't think that I'll jump at opportunities to clean. I only do it when I feel like it. ;)
That's me at the age of three or four sweeping our apartment. Don't you love the beautiful television set in the back? We had two channels?!
